Who we are

Welcome to Kindred Knead! My name is Emily, and I am the chef behind the goods. I am a lifelong baker from a family of midwestern cooks. Cookies are my favorite thing to make, but breads make the best gifts. I have too many dogs, and not enough children, but plenty of recipe tasters for Kindred Knead. In addition to cooking, I love to read, needlepoint, travel, and cheer on the LSU Tigers. I am a loud talker and a forgetful first born daughter. I hope you’ll consider trying our food or taking a class with us! It would thrill me to be run out of business because all my customers were now baking their own delicacies.
